Demand Generation / Digital Marketing

You will be responsible for building out Viptela’s demand gen engine to further fuel the company’s rapid growth.  The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of marketing automation, lead nurturing and lead management practices, deep pockets of email outreach and SEM/SEO experience, and that unique blend of analytic, creative, and project management expertise.  And, you should have a passion for driving revenue through great, hard-hitting, measurable marketing programs (You should be fired up with revenue originating from DemandGen programs).


  • Design, execute, and optimize demand gen programs across multiple channels including email outreach and nurturing, paid search and SEO, targeted display, and webinars
  • Develop lead nurturing strategies to prepare leads to engage with our sales team; Deploy, test, and evolve nurturing programs in our marketing automation system
  • Guide the team in leveraging marketing automation to manage lead routing, lead nurturing, lead scoring, lead import, audience segmentation, and data hygiene
  • Team closely with Sales to evolve and refine end-to-end lead management processes
  • Develop copy for emails, landing pages, and support offer development
  • Support delivery of Viptela’s webinar series, maximize the value of webinar and event-driven leads
  • Manage email list rentals, media buys and vendor relationships
  • Obsessively measure and report the impact of marketing spend impact; apply learnings on a daily basis to nimbly optimize programs and make recommendations for reallocation of spend across the mix

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 2-5 years experience in B2B demand gen
  • Deep pockets of experience in marketing automation, CRM, search marketing, and rules-based lead nurturing
  • Direct experience as a front-line user in Marketo/Pardot,, Google Analytics, and AdWords all desirable
  • Solid communications skills – both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical thinker
  • Outstanding attention to detail with superior time and project management skills
  • Passion for testing, measuring and improving marketing campaign effectiveness
