Customer Support Engineer I

Job Description

  • provide technical support to customers worldwide on the Viptela product and solutions
  • troubleshoot network problems of low to moderate complexity
  • able to work different shifts, including available for duty pager assignments
  • provide technology/product/solution trainings to customers as required

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of IP networking experience
  • 2+ years of working knowledge of networking products and solutions
  • knowledge of NAT, VLAN, VXLAN, BFD, VRRP
  • understanding of security technologies, IPSec, SSL, IP VPNs
  • understanding of server virtualization technologies
  • aptitude to learn technologies as needed


  • BS in CS, EE or equivalent
